Day two in Berlin was on Friday (March 29th). Fridays for Future had already organized a school strike for Climate Change in Berlin and Greta Thunberg was coming to take part and demand more action on climate change. Our students really wanted to take part in this important event so we helped them get to the State park Invalidenpark so they could march in protest to the Brandenburg Gate with Greta Thunberg.
And in the mass throng you could pick out some Vanier students...
We were so proud of our students. I was never more hopeful for our collective future than seeing young men and women stand for Eco Justice at Berlin's Fridays For Future climate strike with Greta Thunberg. As a MAEEC grad from Royal Roads I am rejuvenated by today's passion and overwhelmed with joy that our Vanier students stood shoulder to shoulder with their brothers and sisters here in Germany.
