Our group found it incredibly moving to spend some time at the Dachau Concentration Camp. We had prepared our students ahead of time with lots of information about the concentration camp yet no amount of prep work could truly match the power of standing in such a place. Our teachers (Mr. & Mrs. Randall and Mr. Young) were so incredibly proud of our students, they were an open minded and open hearted group of compassionate humans who walked through a stark reminder of an inhuman past. Every student was thoughtful, respectful, and introspective. They emoted empathy and were a shining example of sympathetic, understanding, caring and concerned people.
