The rest of the day was spent along the Elbe from the Bismarck Denkmal to the Hauptkirche St. Michaelis, then to the St. Pauli-Landungsbrücken back towards the HafenCity quarter (Speicherstadt). Lots of walking and a crowded subway made for an amazing day

First the group took a walk in the Bismarckpark

Next the group went to the Hauptkirche St. Michaelis

inside to see the altar

and the organ

and for a view from up top

Next the group went to the St. Pauli-Landungsbrücken (Elbe tunnel)

Finally, after a really crowded subway, back to the HafenCity quarter (Speicherstadt)

Our last stop was the Mahnmal St. Nikolai (St. Nikolai Hauptkirchen Memorial)
